We strive to create a unique and fun culture at Perforce centered around our employees. I'm glad you are enjoying that culture. Perforce as successfully completed thirteen acquisitions which creates new opportunities for our employees, customers and partners. I'm most excited about the career growth opportunities these acquisitions provide for our employees. As you mention, each acquisition has it's own set of challenges and we believe it's that journey that makes us stronger. If you have any ideas on how we can improve our integration process, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. ~ Jim Cassens, CEO

Pros

Culture has evolved significantly with new CEO and leadership driving true growth and aligning everyone of a clear vision and opportunities. Perforce has became a leading DevOps vendor in so many fronts

Cons

Like in any other company: you need to find the right balance between all aspects of business, technology and life. not a real reason not consider Perforce, just understanding that the company goes through growth challenges, but this is very minor comparing it to other envs I worked at.

As leaders, we’re committed to fostering a workplace where employees feel trusted, supported, and valued—not micromanaged or overwhelmed. Recognizing the need for continued improvement, we’ve recently made additional changes within the team. Across Perforce, we make it a priority to celebrate exceptional work through programs like our Perforce Hero segment at All Hands meetings and the Customer Champion Awards. If you’re open to a conversation, I’d genuinely appreciate the opportunity to connect and hear your thoughts on how we can further strengthen the work environment. Please feel free to email me to set up a time. ~ Jim Cassens, CEO

Pros

What I love about the culture at Perforce is the strong focus on collaboration, openness, growth and fun. The open-door policy, even with the C suite leaders, really shows that the company lives out its value of humility. Perforce truly believes in growing its people, and I’ve been fortunate to benefit from that. I’ve always felt seen and valued, starting with the little things like Wednesday community lunches to the bigger perks like unlimited PTO. The genuine care the organization shows for its employees makes me feel well taken care of. I also have to mention that while we work hard, we also play hard. We have a dedicated fun committee that regularly throws exciting events and competitions, which makes the work environment even more enjoyable. It’s a place I’m really enjoying working at, and I look forward to growing here.

Cons

The only downside I see is that we're not a large organization where you can fly under the radar and avoid engagement. If that's what you're looking for, Perforce might not be the right place for you.
