      Pros

      I've recently joined Perforce after working in games industry for several years after an in-house recruiter messaged me on LinkedIn. The recruitment process was super friendly with Catherine being my main point of contact. It was a 5-stage interview process (which sounds too much!) but I saw value & enjoyed every stage. This help ensure that I was a right fit for Perforce as well as Perforce being a right fit for me. I'm excited to start my fully remote role working with some talented individuals!

      Pros

      Employee focused recruiting, well thought out and structured onboarding process. Recruiting: 1. Clear process 2. Fast and honest feedback cycles 3. Candidate focused feedback instead of generic replies Onboarding: 1. Well structured 2. Friendly and supportive atmosphere 3. Hiring manager is always present and ready to help Not the least were pleasant surprises in the form of welcome gifts. All in all, company has employee-focused culture and it shows.

      Pros

      Unlimited PTO (although they expect you to "make it up" if you're out) Some remote work (during pandemic, but now they have to justify the real estate, so most had to come back) Overall employee treatment is pretty good; some cool perks along the way

      Cons

      Work projections did not match reality (mostly spam) No meaningful adjustments to address that reality Lauded employees who worked while having COVID; questioned some who didn't. Unreasonable quotas, especially during internally busy months (bootcamps, seminars, holidays) Lengthy probationary periods before promoting very few company darlings
