-Great work life balance -Half-day fridays -Community -Growth of company brings new and interesting challenges -New CEO appears to have a clear path for the company -Lots of diversity in the Minneapolis office, everyone gets a chance -Opportunities to work with people around the world

Cons

-Communication on key business decisions that affect everyone's jobs stays locked, little transparency is shared until after the fact. -401k match has been stagnant for years, although past recruiters have told new hires that the 401k match will be raised.

Thank you for leaving the post. I'm glad you are enjoying working at Perforce - we are glad you are here! We are working on being transparent on all topics with our bi-weekly CEO email, All Hands Meeting, Suggestion emails on OnePlace, Business Unit Townhall meetings and local Townhalls. We'll look for even more ways to share information with you. I hear your comment on 401k match and will look for opportunities to make this even better. - Jim Cassens, CEO

Pros

* Relaxed environment * Smart coworkers * Half days on Fridays

Cons

* Poor compensation and small bonuses / CoL adjustments which makes it seem like the employees are helping pay for acquisitions * Career advancement is non-existent * Hiring focus in India means that US teams are augmented with Indian workers making collaboration difficult because of time zones * The lack of investment in engineering stifles innovation and leads to subpar feature releases * Engineers are often kept in the dark about larger initiates and given little context about why they are doing things

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. As CEO, this feedback is important information that helps us make changes to improve our work environment. Our employees are our most important asset and we want to create a conducive environment. It would be great to learn more and if you are comfortable, please reach out to me and let's talk. As of April, 2024, we have promoted 115 employees including 27 in our engineering team. Communication is hugely important and an area of emphasis for all of our leaders in Perforce. I'd like to understand how we can improve project communication to ensure you know what you are working on and the impact that project has on our business. I do look at new products or versions as a guide of our ability to innovate. We have released new products like Digital Asset Management, Helix Core Cloud and several new features/services/modules in Puppet, Gliffy and many others, Our annual Hackathon drives significant innovation and anyone can participate in those Hackathons. Certainly, we do have to carefully chose where innovation happens and we intend to continually invest in innovation where it makes sense. Thanks again for providing this feedback to allow us to know where we can improve.

Great Culture and Work Life Balance!

Pros

Perforce is a fun and fast paced place to work. The new CEO has brought much needed transparency and a sincerity that is greatly appreciated. Pay and benefits are good and there are lots of added perks and fun activities that make it a great place to work. Executives and managers are approachable and nice to work with. Most importantly-there is work life balance. Managers are very respectful of people's time off and home lives-I feel like I always have the flexibility I need as a busy parent.

Cons

There are some longer term employees in higher management/executive positions that do not have experience at larger companies and are resistant to the evolution necessary to operate a company of our size. Things that work at company with 300 employees don't work at a company with 2000 employees. Frequent acquisitions bring lots of changes and some challenges so if you are someone who doesn't like change or the "messiness" of integrations, you might struggle a bit depending on the type of work you do.

Thanks for the review. As your CEO, this feedback is so important. As a growing company, we do experience the need to help our employees adjust to a growing environment. I'll use your feedback to ensure we provide the appropriate level of education to our leaders for understanding how to scale the organization. Thank you!
