Pros

I work with a team of amazing people who build each other up, celebrate accomplishments, and inspire each other to be our best selves. This is so refreshing. On top of loving my coworkers, my bosses are great. They encourage us to maintain a healthy work/life balance and use all of our PTO. They also schedule these 3-day strategy sessions throughout the year that include dinners, team-building activities, and parties. This keeps us focused on our goals and gives us an opportunity to connect with each other. It's one of the reasons why we're such a record-breaking, tight-knit group. I feel so lucky to be a part of Performance Contracting.

Cons

I think there's room for improvement at every organization. Aside from the little things like being more prepared and having more time to rollout changes, the one thing that I would consider a downfall for PCG is that the Leadership Group decided to remove our D&I program. We used to have a really great D&I leader who organized events to recognize and recruit women in construction, Veterans, people of color, folks with disabilities, etc. After she left the organization, we replaced our D&I program with "Culture of Care." This new program is missing the mark. I don't see us involved in the community or learning how to be more inclusive, self-aware, or accommodating. Since we adopted the Culture of Care, we have only had a handful of optional webinars that are facilitated by people who are not in these minority groups. I know we could and should do better.

Pros

Although we are a corporation our branch feels like family to me, as well as those I've met at corporate and other branches. Your not just a number. Another major benefit is the ESOP plan, you can't beat it.

Cons

I personally can't think of any cons of working at PCI.
