Pros

The retirement program is amazing. The vacation policy including sabbaticals for certain positions is also a plus.

Cons

There are a very select few who move up at PCG because they excel at their job. More commonly the people being promoted are lazy and ineffective, but are extremely skilled at either who they are related to or have made friends with. The retirement benefits contribute dramatically to a very strange environment where normally intelligent and talented people are not rewarded unless they know the right person. Behavior towards gay people is atrocious. An extremely small segment of the office staff is anything but white. Women are almost always found in administrative roles. The reward is rich if you can stick it out, but if you have any morales it will be extremely challenging.

Pros

Great benefits, good people, great company. The job teaches you a lot of sales and use tax rules.

Cons

Terrible politics in tax department. Current manager does not care about your feelings. If you do work, you will be rewarded with more work. Theres a lot of emphasis on goals and compeleting them, however, if you are not a "favorite" you wont be promoted.
