Pros

Company really gives the PL a lot of freedom in running the technical portion of a program. The quality of engineers here is good, able to form strong teams who understand commitment to getting the job done a priority.

Cons

Management seems to be always tinkering with job titles and roles, always looking at other companies and trends in the market. Seems to be a lot of "positioning" amongst some of the engineering crew. Causes a bit of unrest and concern as there a number of other areas that are far more important and don't seem to get any real attention. Over emphasize the "culture" part of the business, rather spend it on furthering the company than the heavier than normal pulse taking.

We are very sorry that you feel upper management has been tinkering too much. Our growth as a company has required some changes and re-structuring. A very unbalanced company

Pros

Very few. Older tech is fun to work with.

Cons

Employees are very volatile in the eyes of management. Interviews would suggest that you need cutting edge tech exposure, top notch education, and years of experience, and this shows in the interview process. However, the work is uninspiring, tedious, and employees are not appreciated for the work they do. Pay is well below market, benefits are not as good as some on here make them out to be, and many live in fear that they will be let go with no valid reason.

Pros

Good for someone starting in computer science. Also the benefits are great and the atmosphere is that you would want from a software company.

Cons

The company is run by "drama". If they don't like you, you will not have a job for long. I was let go because of work place nonsense and not because I was under performing.
