Pros

It's made me a stronger person and cured a lot of my naivety.

Cons

Can't trust HR. HR is untouchable and will get you fired, start untrue nasty rumors about you, openly and unapologeticly pick on you, and encourage others to pick on you if you make the mistake of getting on their bad side. Unprofessional is an understatement. Management is immature, rude, and lazy. And THEY decide who is successful at Porformant. They put unrealistic expectations on some while others have 0 accountability. Different sets of rules apply to different people. Affairs run rampant, and management sleeps with people who answer directly to them. If they think too many people are bonusing, they change the bonus structure before they have to pay. They put people they don't like on crappy contracts regardless of performance. I honestly didn't know that people could be so out right mean, hateful, irrationally jealous, resentful, manipulative, tacky, uneducated, and unhelpful. This is truly a work environment like I have NEVER seen before. Bullying is encouraged and constant rumors and gossip circulate ruthlessly. And on top of everything , the pay is TERRIBLE. The bare minimum with no raises EVER.

Pros

The friendships made their with some fellow employees will last my lifetime

Cons

I gave 17 years of my life this company. Initially as a portfolio manager and worked by way to middle management. I was told to work hard to get promoted and I did. Once there never received a pay increase (8 years with no increase) Was forced to work for an unethical director who showed extreme favoritism with staff. He strived to take over other departments and "create an empire here" Our personalities clashed and he made it know. After working my tail off and giving my all I was let go unexpectedly with truly no warning and nothing to show for the 17 years.
