Pros

Free coffee!! even that doesn’t make it a worthy professional design firm

Cons

I am amazed at how many current & past PE employees had the same experience with this organization… They are a second rate semi/professional architectural firm that treats its employees lousy, as well does really lousy design work. Stay away unless you want your career ruined by a blood sucking management starting at the top with BRAD @ MARY JEAN!! (Full stop) Wouldn’t recommend PE to my worst enemy!!!

Pros

Firm provides great resources such as courses, study materials, tech support, groups of interest supported greatly. Happy hours, other occasional office parties. It also guaranties good promotional growth for people who spend time talking and socializing in the office.

Cons

This is corporation, not a design firm, and it cares about profit not about design P E R I O D. Thus total absence of team brainstorm process, pinups, and open discussion of ideas/sketches produced by leadership who are over 50/ 60 y.o. and who finally reached high position to realize all their design ambitions and ideas saved up from 80s -90s :)

Pros

Nothing... They are slave drivers!!! They are an awful bunch of money grubbing people. Poorly run firm. Run by uncaring individuals.

Cons

The Connecticut office has a very very high turn over rate, and it's not for lack of compensation. They are throwing money at people and still can't keep them. Why? The "C" suite executives are simply aweful. Awful leaders, awful individuals. They are so out of touch with staff. They don't care about staff. All they care about are profits. Don't let them tell you free bagel Monday is a reason to work there. They treat staff very very poorly. This why you constantly see ads on the net looking for help.
