Pros

The pay historically has been good.

Cons

The supply chain leadership starting from the top (COO) is poor and in turn they hire other poor leaders, creating a terrible culture. They also have preference on hiring H1B employees that struggle with the culture and are anything but exceptional. It hasn't helped that leadership is spread out amongst 3 different headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, Allegan, MI, and their most recent $50+ million dollar purchase of a Grand Rapids, MI headquarters. It's simply ridiculous and illustrates that the company has lost sense of who they are and what their core competencies are.

Pros

Decent Pay for factory work. Depends a lot however on which department your in. Benefits are very supportive and hard to turn away from.

Cons

How long of a list would you like...? - Theres an enormous "Snitches get stitches' Mentality. If you report someone for anything, Be prepared to get expelled from the social circle. Everyone is snoopy and nothing stays secret for long. - If you get injured you may as well kiss your job goodbye and look for work elsewhere. - I Like my job area, its the people who work it that make it a nightmare. - Management plays favorites often, Its a great place if your a behind kisser and a boot licker. You'll go far if you make the right friends in the right places.... which is typically higher up the ladder. - Perrigo's 'Project Energy' has basically cost people their jobs and they started getting picky choosy in other departments. If they felt you were even a little lazy they would pick you apart till they find a fire-able flaw or rapid fire write-ups till your out the door. Beware Plant 4 and plant 1 in that regard. - Plant 7 is very High school drama-esk. Dont trust anyone as far as you can throw them and rest assured if you stumble even once, some behind-kisser will 100000000% report you. People will start things for no reason so even if you never share your personal life someones gonna get bored and make something up about you just for the hell of it. - This year, Perrigo outraged Hundreds of employees in multiple plants by announcing that they will be pushing back yearly raise reviews till September, and there will be no accommodation or compensation for the months that follow after an employee's yearly 'started working here' anniversaries..Example, If you got hired in April several years ago, you typically get your yearly review in april and a raise. However Now its been pushed to September and you go months without your expected annual raise with no compensation or make up for it. Lots of people were upset and Perrigo management seemed uncaring about people's upset.
