Pros

New software knowledge is abundant.

Cons

Senior Management not communicating well enough with having divisions located in different offices and not understanding what their team does in the offsite location they are running because they are too focused on other divisions. So it can overall affect budgeting and design.

Pros

flexibility allowed when needed by certain directors big enough company to grow, only if allowed to transfer to other departments

Cons

Favortism is shown to senior employees by managers and take advice for hiring and promotion procedures. You are scorned and screamed at for non related issues and then apologized in private or over the phone when director finds out you want to report this to HR. You are always discouraged from going to HR and afraid to lose your job. Personal information is quickly exposed by management, exapmles: personal matter, salary and end of year review. sbu is very unprofessional and run by intimidation.

Pros

-met excellent co-workers and made good friends -learned to build tough skin and workout problems on my own

Cons

-micro-managing, director(s) claim they're open to suggestions yet that's not true. Uncalled for manual work and paper waste is a result of managers "being open to new suggestions", yet the company claims to be "eco-friendly" -excessive fowl language from director(s) -directors have random gossip meetings while expecting employees to not speak -directors have no sense of confidentiality -HR department is not there for the employees but there to protect the company -managers lack people, ethics, professional skills. They're hired solely because they're friends or family of upper management leading to power trips -recognition is made only on mistakes -ample amounts of intimidation by directors to their employees
