Good company to work for, though long-term growth is challenging

Pros

Persistent is a good company to work for, specially in therms of work-life balance and overall work environment. There is a strong focus on delivering objectives and results rather than strictly monitoring work hours, which encourages trust and flexibility. The salary and benefits package is competitive, and the work environment is positive, supportive and respectful. The company culture promotes collaboration and professionalism, making it stable and comfortable place to work.

Cons

Career growth and long-term progression can be quite limited. Career plans are not always clearly defined, and opportunities for growth, promotion and salary increases are relatively low and difficult to achieve. For employees with more than four years in the company, it can become challenging to stay motivated due to the lack of advancement opportunities and slow progression.

Pros

* Architectural Autonomy: There is a genuine respect for "Engineering Excellence." You have the room to advocate for modern stacks (Rust, Go, Vector DBs, Snowflake/Databricks) if they serve the client’s vision. * Top-Tier Partnerships: The deep integration with AWS, Azure, and Salesforce provides early access to beta features and specialized certifications that keep your technical edge sharp. * Human-Centric Culture: The company has a "soul" that is rare in IT services. Initiatives like the Persistent Employees Benefit Trust (PEBT) provide real security for families during medical crises. * Growth Trajectory: As the fastest-growing IT brand in 2026, the project pipeline is robust, particularly in Healthcare and Fintech.

Cons

* Compensation lag - especially for long tenured employees * Hybrid syncs - could be early morning or late evening with offshore
