      Pros

      Working with animals and 50% off certain pet food, 15% on other mech.

      Cons

      Typical retail experience. If you have ever worked retail, you'll understand how the 5cent raises and staying under full time hours to avoid giving you benefits game works. Also, never go to HR for anything, ever. They will never help. Nothing is actually anonymous no matter what they tell you.

      Pros

      If something happens to the salon you'll always have a paycheck and you'll always have a position. Good benefits. If you don't commission out you'll still have a paycheck. 50% commission.

      Cons

      Very stressful. Lots of rules. The company doesn't seem to care about your physical body. They want you to do between 6 and 8 dogs in an 8 hour shift. That's 4 hours 30 minute lunch then another 4 hours. So it's literally an hour or just a little over an hour per dog from start to finish. They don't factor in dogs being difficult or late. Though you make 50% commission, the prices are way too low.

      Working around animals is always a joy. Decent pay

      Cons

      Job description was not accurate. Thrown onto a register without training. Once I had quit, I was sent my w-2 but not any of my checks. They kept my last paycheck and claimed they didn’t have it. Had to contact HR to get a reprint.
