      Pros

      The people there are great and almost always friendly. You gain a lot of knowledge about the products and animals you sell.

      Cons

      The downsides of working at PetsMart are some of the hours.Also the managers do not know about everything in the store like they are supposed to

      Pros

      Mostly friendly environment, you get to have fun with pets that come in, if you want to do your job even decently, you have to learn things about animals and products and therefore you learn new things, etc.

      Cons

      Well, it's corporate, you get some dissatisfied customers and there's really nothing you can do about it, it's ultimately not the best company if you want to achieve hugely (maybe for a select few), never have gotten much real praise for accomplishments, etc.

      Pros

      If you have a pet, it is a good environment for you and your pet. You can take advantage of the many services the store has to offer. Corporate is also very good at providing perks to employers and treating them well, such as designated days for double associate discount day.

      Cons

      There is often little consistency from manager to manager as far as guidelines.
