      Pros

      The best part of the job was being with all of the dogs. Everyone I worked with in the grooming department was so nice. I answered the phones, booked appointments, played with dogs as I cleaned them. A dream job.

      Cons

      The only downside was that I worked in the grooming department at night when no one came in. I had a very hard time filling up my appointment slots. The entire store was empty after 6pm and I worked until 9pm. I was making minimum pay with no commission to clean the salon to keep busy. There was no point in cleaning the salon either because an outside hired cleaning crew came in every night. If I wanted a cleaning job I would have gotten a job at a hotel or with MerryMaids.

      Most unprofessional place to work for

      Pros

      Most of the sales associates are nice and love animals.

      Cons

      Management is very unprofessional and act like 12 year olds when you want to have a serious conversation with them. I had a few times the door practically shut in my face when I wanted to address certain problems. Gotten talked down to many times as well. They do not know how to communicate. They also tell female sales associates to take shopping bags away from shop lifters. Management does not care for the associates safety. As much as you address it they really do not care. They also threaten associates with "points". If you earn 11 points you are fired. If you call out sick and bring a doctors note you will still get a point taken away from you. Not a single person I work with is happy. I wish people would start sticking up for themselves more. I just think they are afraid of losing their job. Managers love to knock fear into their associates. I hardly see anyone get any praise for a great job they have done. There are no Christmas bonuses either. The pay is horrible and you will never make it far.
