Pros

The benefits are good but salaries could be better. It is one of the largest employers in the area. You get to work with and design trucks. Coworkers are good to work with. It is one of the few companies that still has a pension plan.

Cons

For me it is a long commute to Denton. There is a lot of politics.

Pros

It is a cyclical work environment, extremely busy during new product launches and then it slows down. So the stress and work load are cyclical too. And you get out of it what you put in. If you take the time to be out in the factory you learn more than the average employee.

Cons

It takes quite a bit of time to climb the company ladder. The most successful people are the ones who leave engineering for a factory position and then circle back around to engineering.
