Pros

Great benefits, absurdly high starting wages for entry level positions (which do not require prior experience or a diploma/equivalent). Resources are plentiful for those with questions within the company.

Cons

Some of the higher corporate personnel do not appear to value the employees. Promises are initially made and rarely kept.

Pros

I'm proud of the work I do. And there's no shortage of work to be done. The majority of long time employees are knowledgeable and love to talk trucks. I have a lot of respect for a lot of engineers there.

Cons

There are a shortage of positions that require FEA or other analytical expertise. It is all outsourced to another division of PACCAR. This wouldn't be bad, but it has created a propensity to over-engineer parts. Mainly because it takes too much time and effort to have someone else do the work, and project timelines are rushed.
