Pros

peterbilt is a good team atmosphere and the company cares about their employees and their families. the pay is good and the benefits are good also.

Cons

often there is over management and not enough communication between shifts and departments and often there is a who's who attitude and new people are not always welcomed

Pros

Air conditioned plant. 72F year round. Generally positive, friendly co-workers. Pay rates higher than average for the area. Annual raises till you max out after 4 years of service. Promotion and education opportunities. Cafeteria onsite.

Cons

Long service employees jealously gaurd there areas and prerogatives. Needed changes are slow to put in place due to all the personalities involved. Most day shift positions are held by senior employees, so it's a years long wait to go to a day shift position.
