Pros

Good pay, good coworkers, good time off. I loved working on air and electric. Hard work but very rewarding. I still have pride when I see a pete out on the road.

Cons

Some departments (brake, driveline, and some frame line spots) are very labor intensive. I pulled hoses and laid wiring bundles. It was mentally taxing, remembering each chasis style and different minor variations, this was preferred to heavy lifting day in, day out. I worked building crossmembers for a while, and that was hard work, but very rewarding.

Pros

Pay is decent. Overtime is good ( if you can get it)

Cons

Seniority and experience means nothing, managers are hired from outside and have no clue about how to smoothly run a department or utilize experienced team members.
