Pros

- Data Availability is huge - Ample scope to play around in different range of projects. - Good employer benefits - Will enhance scoping of projects

Cons

- Data Science Manager is from non technical background. Hence obstruct any new project ideas. - Heavy politics inside the team. Hence, survival of the fittest nature. - Manager's inability to scope out a DS project is a loss of structure to the team. - Communication gap is a huge concern

Pros

You get paid very well for what you do without experience or higher education requirements. Opportunities to advance, learn, and achieve across the whole company. It can be JUST an 8 hr/day job, but there is opportunity to add more value than that.

Cons

Will start out working nights, possibly for 2-4 years. Seniority allows for moving to day shift hours. Management will hear ideas, but implementation falls short.
