The store I currently work at is great. Great atmosphere and co-workers. I couldn't ask for a better work family.

Cons

The hours may be a issue since some stores aren't as big or busy.

Gives a more local feel. Taking care of animals. Usually smaller stores IVF and other health benefits

Cons

Became very corporate. Less care required for animals after sales and stocks went up Feels less local, more rules on how to set things up and present your store.

Pros

Pretty much got to make my own schedule based on when dogs were scheduled. Plus the store manager listened to me when I had a few issues and took care of them quickly.

Cons

They break down the dog grooming prices by breed of dog and it makes it difficult to remember 50+ breed prices. It should be broken down by size with additional pricing on matting/difficult dogs.
