Pros

Allows independent working environment..minimal micromanagement. Work environment lean and fellow employee have a true interest in creating viable treatments/medications.

Cons

To upper management, it often feels like you are just a number. Seems the emphasis is more on the next company/ they can buy as opposed to valuing and taking the work of you employees seriously.
