Pros

Flexible work schedule (Field Sales), Awesome benefits (medical, 401K, etc), Excellent training (very good at preparing reps for their day-to-day activities)

Cons

Difficult to make cross-functional moves (Sales to Corporate), While Pfizer is good at training people for their current role, not so great at developing talent beyond current role.

Pros

It "USED" be .... And... Yes i Mean It "USED" to be a great company in terms of behavioral, Cultural, and Ethical standards. I love this company even today because This company always taught me a lot and developed me as a Good Professional and Sure to mention.. developed me as a person of ethics....They used to mean what they said, They used to do what they preach and lots of Respect for people and transparency was in the Air which is now On Papers..Today no body listens to others there are lots of piece of workshops, preaching and advises for UPLIFT and they are mere words on wall. So the Pros and Cons can be read in the same box here.

Cons

You can be thrown out anytime if your face is not liked by your Boss, If you try to inculcate work ethics and drive process and systems and your superiors only expect you to treat your people as pawns and reap business at any cost...no matter people learn or not, they are helped in becoming a good professional or not or they do it with ethics or not.... though all these things are there in the Books but avoided within the board room discussions and if you try to implement the good learning, you are a culprit, because there are some other culprits around who are not able to compete on ethics, and process's and hence form a group to eliminate you. The Great Pfizer is Dying a slow death.
