      Pros

      You get to work with some pretty smart folks from a variety of backgrounds. Being one of the larger employers in the area, you're not necessarily confined to a small group of folks around the water cooler and in some areas drama is at a minimum.

      Cons

      It used to be a place where one could work their way up the ladder. That is not the case anymore. Most movement is lateral at best. As a large employer, you're a number. If you can live with that, you'll do well here.

      Attracting and burning through a lot of strong people

      Pros

      Company is able to recruit many sharp people with brand name and above-average compensation. You get a good education in many respects.

      Cons

      It sucks at holding onto talent but doesn't care because of the ease in recruiting more. Market is full of good ex-PFE people.
