      Great - tough industry in transition right now

      Pros

      People and pay are top in industry.

      Cons

      Losing patents and good people - constant downsizing is demoralizing talented workforce. Long history of doing right by employees has not been the case in last 5 years or so. The R&D is not that productive and the legal pitfalls have become numerous. A great place to pick up selling skills as well as management and leadership opportunities. Many Pfizer people in smaller companies are prospering from their experiences there.

      Good benefits, Great management, nice people, flexible work environment.

      Cons

      Pfizer is getting bigger and bigger by acqusitions. Needs to look into managements and streamline responsibilities and accountability.

      Pros

      Pfizer has a great pipeline of Quality medications and the base pay for field personnel is fair.

      Cons

      Pfizer is so large that it is difficult to find the person with answers to questions and find solutions to problems. Pfizer is under the impression that since they are the largest that they are the best. There are a lot of small to mid-sized companies with very skilled employees whom are at least as competent as Pfizer employees.
