      Pros

      - Above average compensation and benefits (medical, retirement, educational). - Support for Quality of Life issues - Opportunity to interact with other Sites

      Cons

      - Large organization: people become just numbers - job security is not high on the list (to be fair probably true of all big pharma companies now) - Limited opportunities exist for those who do not wish to relocate

      Pros

      Compansation for new hires is sompetative. Scientifically progressive. Encourages communication among collegues and for people to reach outside of their comfort zones.

      Cons

      Always the fear of being laid off. Consistent restructuring inhibits employee development, negatively affects moral and prohibits company from making the most from its talent.

      Pros

      The pay is very good compared to industry, the physical plant was nice, and the benefits were excellent.

      Cons

      My last few years there saw constant instbility. Each department was is own little feifdom. Senior management seemed clueless, disinterested, or outright exploitative. Promotion was done by a series of favoritism and entirely unrelated to performance (which was reviewed in a chicken-sh** "cover your butt" fill-in-the-box style which said nothing).
