Pros

- Opportunity to gain on the job experience - Able to get training on software to help increase your value, although not to them. - Relatively comfortable office atmosphere. - Suburban office location. - Ease of upper-level executive exposure.

Cons

- Compensation is pathetic. Not even in the 10th percentile, much less average market value. - Incompetent management. Refuse to listen to facts, numbers are wrong if they don't match what they have in their head. - Non-existent culture. Literally none, horrible morale. - Poor responsibility structure. IT is unable to do things that are obviously their responsibility. - Little to no chance of promotion. - Annual salary increase is below inflation, you actually lose money the longer you work here.

Pros

Wade Kittle is an amazing PIC to work with.

Cons

I sat there and noticed senior management approach me. I looked up and saw a face seething with anger and contempt, lashing out publicly: “CHECK THE BELT!” I sat in horror as others turned their heads and glanced from afar. The corrupt senior management clutches their pearls whenever a mistake is made, seizing the opportunity like sharks after circling you, cherry picking your errors like rashes on a skin. When you walk into Pharmerica Midland, your past experience does not matter; regardless of whether you held Director of Pharmacy or Pharmacist in charge positions, they will still SCOLD you like a CHILD, attempting to convey an air of superiority while signaling to the rest of the pack that you are NOTHING. Later that day, I sat in the cafeteria eating my Costco pizza, searching and probing within myself whether the incident was for good intentions. I found nothing. (I found myself doing this dozens of times throughout my stay in Midland). I questioned my sanity when I noticed several technicians leaving the job throughout my contract. The corrupt senior management make a spectacle out of nothing, warping reality to fit their narrative that you are LAZY and INCOMPETENT just so they can soothe their ego-tistical self, looking for an outlet to express their antisocial angst. They preach the ideology of "keeping things work-related", but they take this to the EXTREME, squelching any kind of personality or creativity. Funny, now that I think about it, I don't think they've asked me a single question about myself the entire time I was there, I was just a worker to them. As you can guess, this creates an extremely NEGATIVE work environment for everyone. LARPING their moral superiority to anyone who won’t do as they say, they will dangle like a carrot armageddon over our heads whenever we fail to pick up the phone after the first and second ring. It is silently understood among the pack that you will do other people's jobs, without any acknowledgement or even a "thank you." The only time you are visibly acknowledged is when you are criticized. Unfortunately, any kind of complaint and feedback will be quickly dismissed and hijacked by the corrupt management, as they proceed with their nepotistic tendencies to show favoritism towards neurotic senior managers and spoiled nurses/doctors who could care less about returning your phone call. Welcome to the Matrix, a slavery system only caked in pharmacy makeup. When you walk in you have no identity outside the system, as you are forced to latch on to the image it tries to project to the outside world. Inside the system, however, you are just another coppertop to power the Matrix. Enjoy your stay.
