Pros

As I try to come up with a list of pros, not many come to mind. The only thing I can say is that there some nice folks outside of senior management.

Cons

I will have to choose carefully; otherwise, I will run out of room for sure. Let's start with the corporate culture, and the lack there of. Actually, there is a culture and it is founded on fear and finger pointing. It starts with Greg Weishar who rules by fear and belittling his emplloyees at every opportunity. This has creeated a toxic atmosphere where employees are forced to run for cover and blame anyone else they can to avoid persicution. Next, would have to be the salary structure. The compensation levels are in the very bottom percentile. Everyone is expected to perform at a level one position up and earn the salary of one position down. There is very little hope of career development or salary increases. Unless of course you an in the inner circle, then the sky is the limit. Don't expect to ever get in the inner circle. There are zero programs to help quality of life, showing that senior management has little or no concern for the wellbeing of its staff. Working there will leave one feeling bitter, used, and abused. All in all, unless you are desperate for a job or just need a couple years of experience, I would highly recommend looking for employment elsewhere.

Pros

Great People Interesting Job Healthcare field isn't going anywhere pay is decent-raises suck however

Cons

Wow, where to begin? This is the most unprofessional group of managers I have ever met-they need some kind of management training seminar. The employee training is a joke-they sit you with an associate of the floor and that person trains you the way they were trained--which might or might not be the way everyone else is doing it. Hopefully you are a quick study. (There is no longer a training department, and when there was it was crap-a quick overview of all the departments and some basics on the computer and then training was done on the floor. EVERY other job I have ever held there was at least 2 weeks of classroom training before you were put on the floor.) It used to be the the reps were pharmacy specific admissions/census but then upper management decided per a consultant we would do better as a "call center", which we are not. Suddenly we are suppposed to be working all the pharmacies with no training and the spreadsheets that were supposed to be our aides weren't ready. We just stumbled through the best we could. When a new procedure is introduced, there is minimal training; often times ideas or programs are implemented before all the the kinks and bugs are worked out--there is no planning ahead. Again, every one has a different way of doing things, because everyone was trained different. There is absolutley no consistency. The morale was at all time low when I left-people feeling hopeless and depressed because no one listened to them or gave them true credit. realized they were the engine that kept the company running.

Moving in wrong direction

Pros

Most assciates are trying to do the right thing.

Cons

Poor communication from senior management. The company direction and focus is lacking and is poorly relayed to the employees. Addtionally, employees are treated poorly and have low moral that results in poor performance and lack of management support. Seems to be a downward spiral.
