Pros

You’ll meet some hardworking people just trying to make the best of a bad system.

Cons

As a new hire, the experience has been disappointing. The onboarding process was rushed and confusing. Expectations weren’t clearly set, and most of what I’ve learned came from trial and error—not training. Leadership makes decisions with no explanation and changes direction without warning. One day you're working on something important, the next it's scrapped with no discussion. It’s hard to feel secure or motivated when priorities shift constantly and communication is poor. There’s no path for growth. Promotions seem to go to external hires, while internal staff are left wondering what’s next. It feels like your effort doesn’t matter unless you’re close to the right people.

Pros

You’ll learn to adapt quickly—but only because things change constantly with little notice.

Cons

There’s a serious disconnect between what leadership says and what actually happens. Strategy feels made up on the spot, and roles shift without warning. You’re expected to just “figure it out” with no real guidance. Internal promotions are rare. Leadership tends to bring in outsiders instead of recognizing the people already doing the work. It’s discouraging to put in the effort and still be overlooked. Decisions are made in silos, and there’s no real accountability when things go wrong—only more pressure passed down to teams. The environment feels unstable, reactive, and increasingly demoralizing.

Pros

You’ll gain experience working under pressure—mostly from disorganization and confusion.

Cons

The leadership is all over the place. One day it’s one goal, the next day it’s something else entirely. Direction changes often, and no one seems to know why. There’s little to no communication from the top, and when it does come, it's vague or too late to be helpful. People aren’t promoted based on skills or contributions—it’s about who you're close to. Talented team members are either ignored or pushed out. Morale is low because no one feels secure or supported. It's a stressful environment where you're constantly second-guessing your role.
