      Difficult work environment for early in your career

      Great people and amazing benefits!!

      Cons

      Philips is still developing their direction. There is a lot of changes in leadership and people are constantly leaving. The most difficult part is they encourage professional development but HR is not working to make it happen. There is not much support. We were warned before about Philips having many layoffs and it seems to be the go to.

      Pros

      Colleagues are nice and supportive. Opportunities to learn.

      Cons

      Pay raises are small, and it is really hard (impossible) to grow after a certain level. Lack of trained manager to a) keep you motivated, 2) respect your hard work, and 3) give you the right direction to grow. Lack of support for newer impactful ideas.

It sounds like there are a couple of things that could be better, and I'm grateful that you've shared this. Our management also reads these pages, so they can take suggestions and feedback into account for the future.
