Pros
Philips is a global company, well respected in the electronics industry. The Consumer Electronics Division, during my employment, produced quality products. Employees were offered a competitive salary and generous benefits, along with flexibility in balancing work and home life.
Cons
Philips eventually moved production outside of the United States, to location in Mexico and the Far East. Jobs were lost from the area and eventually the facility was completely shut down. There was a communication gap in management, between the home office in The Netherlands, and the United States.
