Relatively laid-back atmosphere, competent and friendly people. Half of the code was very well-written and organized. Recruiting process is pretty solid, although it does seem that sometimes engineering candidates were put on hold if someone better was in the pipeline. Other teams like support are really on the ball.

Philo is an awesome company to work at, as an engineer I have the freedom to work on problems that I find interesting while contributing to a product that I believe in and use on a regular basis. The team is incredible, each person brings their own unique abilities as well everyone is extremely helpful, encouraging and everyone values each others ideas. Overall atmosphere is a pleasure to work in as well as the punny jokes don't hurt either. Each and every person is extremely dedicated and passionate about their work and it shows in the company values and in the product itself. The work life balance is great and extremely flexible, which I truly enjoy. Also there is a good amount of company fun activities that help foster an atmosphere where I love coming into work each day.
