Pros
Work is not difficult. Coworkers are great and carry the department, even though most departments are top heavy with too much upper management or director levels.
Cons
Low pay, high expectations. Elitist administration that still has the good old boy network...they promote or hire their buddies over better qualified or experienced candidates. Wastes money on special projects or consultants then never complete it. Haven't had raises in several years but insurance rates keep climbing while benefits and perks keep declining. Upper management is not held responsible. Departments are top heavy with too many director levels and above.
