Pros

Started here as a LPN and still work here part time as a RN because it is such a good place to work. The staff in the offices have great, open communication with their field workers, very organized and have always been caring and understanding. The patients and families are so appreciative of my help and they are a blast to work with. This is also a very flexible job, I started fostering my nieces and they were able to make a schedule for me that would fit daycare hours. This company truly cares about it's employees.

Cons

The only cons to this job are the slightly lower pay when compared to hospitals and other facilities but I believe it's appropriate due to much lower of stress and patient load.

Pros

Christian based company with an awesome mission statement, Great people (for the most part), Worked with some excellent nurses, and made some friends for life. Most everyone is very sweet in the office and as coworkers in the field.

Cons

1) Agency does not pay according to experience (from aids through to the nurses). 2) Care Coordinators (scheduling) Assigns new and inexperienced nurses to highly skilled pediatric cases. 3) To much trust is put into a specific woman (titled "Senior Care Coordinator" (with only a high school education). The majority of field nurses believed (and were given the impression that she was) a nurse. She was allowed to interview field nurses and considered a "Nursing Supervisor" with authority to discipline/terminate nurses (RN/LPN)... and "sit in" on other various disciplinary actions regarding Nurses (office/and field staff). This particular woman also has a history of lying to the clients/nurses, and puts nurses on a client's schedule without 1st authorizing/confirming with the specific nurse, causing multiple problems. 4) This agency keeps incompetent nurses (working in the field) that TRUE Nursing supervisors have disciplined and reported to Care Coordinators so as not to assign to cases, yet they shift these specific nurses, through various cases (Terrifying at times). 5) SOME office management and field staff not practicing Phoenix Mission Statement.. 6) Never felt job security as turn over rate is terribly HIGH (everywhere within this company).
