This company is going through massive growing pains. Its leadership and management are extremely incompetent, to the point where everything feels chaotic, and it’s constantly excused as “just our hustle culture.” Engineering, business, finance, and research decisions are rushed at a pace that will inevitably lead to Phoenix’s downfall. The cracks are already showing. The turnover rate at this company is unbelievable for a startup. Brilliant and passionate people keep leaving because they aren’t treated with respect, and there are deep systemic and organizational issues throughout the company that ultimately stem from the CEO. The only reason the company is still afloat is because of the current administration, they came very close to going bankrupt in 2024. Many of the job postings also don’t align with the actual work you’ll be doing. Be careful with this place. I would strongly recommend staying far far away from it.
