Pros

Very diverse place to work. Really great staff that cares about the animals. Work was so creative and unique at times.

Cons

Such high demand to work in the zoological industry creates very little opportunity to advance, regardless of performance or skill set. Change management very disruptive. Summer months are extremely HOT with very little relief or escape throughout the day.

You get to work with animals, including husbandry, enrichment, and diet. Work with like minded individuals.

Cons

Higher-ups do not listen to employees. Quite a bit of drama and inter-personal conflict between workers and the managers, creating a negative workforce.
