Pros

Some teams have talented individuals who are doing their best despite the chaos. If you’re extremely self-sufficient and don’t need support or clarity, you might manage. Exposure to multiple clients (though not always a good thing).

Cons

If you’re on a visa, double-check everything — communication is vague, inconsistent, and sometimes just wrong. Salary range in NYC is an absolute joke. Don’t even want to get into work-life balance — it’s mostly survival mode, and boundaries are rarely respected. Culture looks good on paper, but is nothing like what’s experienced day-to-day. Expect zero clarity on onboarding, client assignments, or even your own immigration paperwork. Leadership is reactive, not accountable — and you’ll feel that almost immediately.
