      Pros

      You can work in various technologies. Making a switch in role is easy and even progression is quick for good performer. For a very few it would be a extremely good opportunity. Compensation is above average for good performers.

      Cons

      Absolutely no idea of work-life balance. HR department is more or less a sham and are pretty powerless, employee policy is a joke and can be played around with management. Work is not well defined and a hard worker might end up doing half the work of a team. Work environment can be rough and sometimes verbally abusive

      Pros

      1) Salary is relatively better than other Indian based IT service companies.

      Cons

      1) 10 hours (9am - 7pm OR 11am - 9pm) 2) breaks are tracked (i.e. bathroom breaks, tea breaks) This is highly demotivating for all the employees. 3) PF contribution is minimum prescribed by govt (i.e. Rs 750) for all employees.

      They have good clients and are doing interesting work.

      Cons

      The leadership team is not at all concerned about the careers of the consultants. They don't care about your goals - they only care about using you to make money. The same is true about customer relationships. They are constantly fighting fires because of missed expectations and/or delivery issues. This is why so many Photon customers do one engagement and then move on. My advice is to avoid this company unless you are desparate.
