Good pay, bad environment

Pros

The pay here is pretty decent and most of the jobs are not too difficult. High turnover rate for night shift, thus more opportunities.

Cons

The environment (temperature) as well as the people here are what make it a bad place to work. You are expected to do more than what you should be required to do based on your job title. If you work hard, they push you harder to do more than your part in order to take up other people's slack. There is really no comfortable place to work, it is either really cold or really hot.

Pros

They offered a pretty decent salary at 45k/year with benefits. Easy job.

Cons

Worked odd hours until 2 in the morning most days. Hourly employees can be a handful often. Frequent lack of attendance from hourly workers causes headaches. Working in the cold plant. Lack of cleanliness in the plant. Job was in the middle of nowhere, 12 miles to get anywhere in civilization. Co-supervisors would steal things. Constant butting of heads with the supply room when trying to get equipment for workers to use. Machines breaking down frequently.
