Pros
Flexible schedule if you need time off it’s pretty easy to get. Good benefits for health care/retirement. Depending on your position you can get a company vehicle.
Cons
Lots of travel, compensation is kept as low as possible, very political management chain it’s very hard to move up in the company. They’ve created policies to reduce the amount of overtime you get.
