Pros

To gain basic knowledge of claims handling at a high volume under high duress. It is a "sink or swim" environment unless you are connected.

Cons

Extemely biased towards who is promoted that is not based on past performance reviews. High number of hours with the pay scale periodically lowered since beginning to work for this company in 2004. The adjusters are aware of the pay scale billing being the same but yet the adjuster makes less money.

Pros

-A lot of technical support, seems that they actually care that their adjusters succeed. -Potential for high earnings in a relatively short period of time.

Cons

-Feast or Famine type of employment, which is just the nature of the industry. -In order to make good $$ you have to be on the road a good portion of the year.
