Pros

Decent benefits and no layoffs

Cons

Extremely cliquish which defines raises and training. Absolutely no career path so once one is hired in at a position, one stays there as long as one is employed there.

Pros

There are no longer any pro’s.

Cons

Only rewarding certain employees with career advancement who fit a certain physical criterion. Very odd and not fair to employees (current and past). Pilot should have focused on an individual's capabilities rather than who fits the mold based on ethnicity and gender. Unfortunately, Pilot has lost what it once had due to poor executive management and letting talented individuals go. The culture is broken and unfortunately, Pilot missed out on its opportunity to be a respected supplier. For employees still with Pilot, there are many brighter opportunities elsewhere where you will enjoy your work and your colleague's. If you are looking to join Pilot, perhaps consider other companies for a better career experience and one that is based on accomplishment.

Pros

The people were accepting and warm. They did a good job of hiring people who were easy to work with. They promote a culture that empowers individual contributors. People were good about working together, helping out, and having some fun.

Cons

Wages are on the low side for the level of responsibility and thus retention was a problem. Turnover resulted in knowledge loss and consequent additional catch-up. Not a lot of diversity.
