Pros

Pindrop actually gets what innovation is about. You're really encouraged to try something new, and to fail along the way to achieving something great. I've never seen or worked for a company that is as focused on creating new market segments with real market-fit wins. From an outstanding research team, to the highly specialized engineering small teams, to the always-giving-120% customer success and support teams, to the top-notch sales team, topped off with a rare CEO. Its hard not to give your all when surround by such great people. Vijay is a technical CEO, that knows his industry and company's technologies, but he is in no way overbearing or egotistical, unlike most technical founders. He is visionary, level-headed, and humble.

Cons

There is some weird clicky groups of know-it-alls happening, but the growing culture is very open and welcoming which will eat those groups alive quickly. There's a significant lack of coconut water options amongst all the free food, drinks, Monday bagels, and Friday catered lunches.

Pros

- every day I have something interesting to do - always have new things to learn - most of it has been really fun - the people here are great! - no egos that I've seen, we're all here together to get the job done in the right way - we win or lose as a team, not only my team but company-wide - the silos are minimal, with strong interaction between disparate teams

Cons

Atlanta traffic can be pretty terrible. On a bad day my commute home was over an hour and a half. Typically my commute in either direction is on the order of 45 minutes, which isn't too bad for Atlanta. Also, 401(k) matching leaves much to be desired, isn't close to what I'm accustomed to.

Pros

- pay: good base - work: plenty of interesting work that covers the whole stack - outlook: sunny; the engineers keep building and the sales engine is humming - location: biltmore hotel in midtown - few facades: people act themselves - calories: snacks, bagels on mondays, with cream cheese

Cons

- requirements: unstable (which is a pro if you know how to maneuver) - inexperience: plenty of talent; plenty of experience, in fact, but it's spread thinly; the teams seem to plod through solutions that a more experienced set of engineers might not have to think twice about (which, again, can be a pro if you want the autonomy and have the work ethic to make stuff work)
