Pros

Nice office, great location, free food.

Cons

Very political place with a lot of churn and no respect for high performers. Top management is trying to be very nice and it leads to no accountability and many broken promises. Don't believe anything your recruiters will tell you.

Pros

Pinterest hires really smart, talented people who have wide experience but are also humble and like to celebrate wins. Pinners really love the product which actually does motivate you to work hard, it's nice to work on a product that is so well liked by users. Great benefits, especially for parents/people looking to start a family. Food is fantastic and you'll get 2-3 meals/day if you don't cook much at home, the office environment is really open and collaborative.

Cons

There's a lot of growth and much going on so you can have a lot of impact but you have to be able to adapt quickly to change.

You’ve given us feedback we hear often- that the people here are one of a kind. As a values-driven company, it’s great to know that you connect to Pinterest’s mission: to bring everyone inspiration to create a life they love. Our benefits are a reflection of those values for all of our employees. As you mentioned, I’m particularly proud of our robust parental leave and fertility benefits but also was struck upon my arrival how our entire benefits program is really designed with our diverse employee community top of mind. And I think we all agree that the food is fantastic! Jo, CHRO

You’ve hit the nail on the head with what I love about Pinterest as well - the people and the opportunity to grow make a difference! Pinterest is such an exciting place to be right now. Our size offers the unique opportunity to make a huge impact with the benefit of strong foundation and infrastructure under us. Fast growth means we’ll also need to stay focused on first principles, but as you said, that and all work is made easier with talented people who really care. Jo, CHRO
