Pros

1. The people are generally driven, possess integrity and are helpful and convivial. 2. There are plenty of opportunities to take initiative and make something your own. 3. Fascinating industry with a unique niche that lends itself to a variety of career paths.

Cons

Honestly don't have too many apart from nurturing more senior management from the outside if you're serious about long-term stellar growth continuing. A couple other items: 1. Lower-than-market wages used to be a thing and may well still be. To my mind, however, nobody is MAKING you work at PitchBook for a lower wage - you have to justify a higher one. Frankly many people just aren't that good at pitching themselves. That said, there could be some more middle ground and emphasis on career paths forward in order to make up for lower wages, should those still exist. 2. Sometimes legacy management can linger with a few speedbumps, whether more senior or more middle. 3. Preservation of culture is definitely key, and many have done well in retaining the best parts of it, yet there can be better meeting grounds between issues such as working from home and a paramount belief that time spent in the office each working day in proximity is the best way forward. I'm no expert, but I think there can be more flexibility toward WFH without sacrificing any essential elements of corporate culture.

Pros

The people are amazing and make work fun, the product is impressive and sells itself.

Cons

Micromanagement in some areas and lack of mid-management in other areas. There are mangers leading teams who they have less industry knowledge than.
