Pros
PitchBook was a fantastic experience for me this past year and a half. I was happy, if not excited, to go to work every day. Each person on my team was someone that I enjoyed, could talk to, go to lunch with, work with, most I would consider friends. The product is exceptional and the target market that PitchBook sells to is very complex and engaging. I enjoyed spending time talking with the prospective clients as well as getting to travel and have exposure to the Venture Capital and Private Equity community in person. The live pitches were exhilarating and a great way to polish presentation skills! Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time and experience at PitchBook. It has its bumps and bruises, just like any innovative and growing company would, but I personally felt very comfortable and safe, surrounded by many great people. The CEO was the reason I took the job....because he was someone I trusted and believed in, and I absolutely still do. I was sad to leave, but wish the company the best and am truly excited to see where they end up in a couple of years!

Can be a micro managerial environment for some.
Great career path opportunities for starting out one's career, but can get a little blurry for those coming in with extensive experience
