Pros

free beer and cold brew on tap

Cons

- fake act like they will support you in developing your career but actually no one wants to see you succeed before you act like a work dog - didn't like it when we discussed our pay between ourselves, were paying our team more than the bd/sdr teams who, objectively, work harder than us. - at the all hands meeting (with the entire company) the CEO made a joke about the MC (who was pregnant) about how "we don't even know who the father is" and everyone laughed....... ? - every team outing was simply going out to drink - culture is almost akin to being part of a frat/sorority if you're into that - senior management of other teams will tattle on you - no work life balance. you're expected to make your quota and do anything you can to make it happen (wake up at 5am/stay up till 3am to make a call across the world) - my internet was down on the one day of the week you get to work from home. my manager didn't believe me. I had to send video and picture proof of me restarting my router, the computer not working, and the construction men working on the telephone poles outside for him to finally believe me. - another work from home day, a customer emailed me and, as I was typing a response, he screenshotted the email and messaged me asking if I was going to respond..... - if it's not obvious already, there was extreme micromanagement - my manager believed a lie from another manager, which resulted in punishment, without clarifying what happened with me. - will not respect you having pronouns other than he/him/she/her - seattle location is filled with top management and "higher ups" who look down on new hires and expect them to work like dogs. sf location is chill though

Pros

Amazing culture full of learning opportunities and the ability to take on stretch projects and grow throughout the organization. Best part about PitchBook is the people. Engagement and facilities teams work hard to provide a good in office experience.

Cons

Some slight changes to leadership over the last year or so, but still feel really confident in the business structure. As a company grows, things are bound to change.
