      Pros

      It was a job that included benefits.

      Cons

      I worked for the mailing products sales div. and think it was an extremely cheap and tacky group. The management provided no value in their leadership and did not respect their employees. I approached Sr. management on several occations to report some very urgent ethical issues and they never took the time to see me or follow-up.

      Pros

      As an intern you work directly on projects and do real engineering from the beginning. You are assigned a mentor and often perform cross-functionally with other departments to get things done. Very good experience overall. Very relaxed environment.

      Cons

      Very top heavy company. There is a lot of bureaucracy in the way of getting things done. There is a lot of "nickle and dimeing" when designing new products. Nontechnical management sometimes seemed detached from reality wit their requests and requirements.

      Pros

      - A good rep can make decent money, comp plan isn't bad - Close to the airport so you can watch the pretty planes go by

      Cons

      - Even senior reps are micromanaged to death. These are better reps than management have or ever will be, if they just show an iota of trust - Basic law of sales doesn't apply... if you hit your forecast you're always safe. I saw the top rep in the country get canned because of a quasi offensive/joking remark in an email.
