      A powerful and successful large organization undergoing a midlife crisis.

      Pros

      Stable and fair. Organization tends to move in safe directions and doesn't take big risks. A great number of talented and helpful individuals work at PB.

      Cons

      Traditional revenues are declining and as such, the company is pulling back what it can. Benefits (health and education comp especially) have declined dramatically, like most other businesses over the past few years.

      Pros

      There are many employees who come to Pitney Bowes with the right mind set - to provide for their families and to grow within the company. Individuals who accept the training provided and who listen can turn their experience into a profitable career.

      Cons

      When you function as a sale person, which are a dime a dozen, you focus on yourself and not the needs of the customer. We are looking for consultants who are not trying to make a quick $$$. Unfortunately "professional interviewers" come to PB expecting to be "given" things without working for them. There are challenges within the company that need resolution, but any true professional with business savy would expect that from a company of this caliber.
