This place is great, great product

I worked at PlaceIQ for six years. During my time at the company I was able to see the company evolve and become better overtime. The technology is very complex but I truly enjoyed working on different projects. What I liked the most was that overtime I could see how our pipelines improved in efficiency and accuracy. There is a great culture of collaboration amongst different departments. We even had a slack channel for coding questions. Many times someone would post a question and I always end up learning something new or how to do some piece of code more efficiently. Everyone is so friendly and approachable and willing to teach you everything they know. I really enjoyed collaborating amongst teams and just learning how my contributions fit in bigger picture which was very satisfying. One thing that made me to proud was that during the covid pandemic there were no layoffs. Many of my friends at different companies lost their jobs, however at PIQ everyone's job was safe. We had frequent all hands meetings with a high level of transparency from exec team that made me feel at ease and know we were safe and we were being told the truth at all times. PIQ even blocked and hour twice a week from everyone's calendar to help with life work balance during the stressful pandemic times. I definitely would recommend this company to any of my friends because I truly believe it is an awesome place to work !
