Pros

Solid benefits technology. Great inside sales team.

Cons

I'd give a ZERO if that was an option. Too many to list. Toxic culture, commission structure "as you go and based on the mood of leadership" in this position. You basically have 90 days to produce, or the warnings begin. There's an "in the club" mentality there around tenured employees and their protected. If you're not part of the club, your time will be short lived. Everything about this place is wrong, starting at the top.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback about PlanSource. I agree that we have a solid benefits technology platform and great sales team. I would like to address a couple of things you pointed out. PlanSource is a high-growth company and with high-growth comes high expectations; that culture is not for everyone. I am proud of the culture we have built and continue to foster for our team members. We do have certain expectations for employees that start at a higher level within the company, but we are always open and honest about those expectations up front. I am sorry this was not a fit for you but wish you the best in your future career. Tom Signorello Chief Executive Officer

Pros

Flexible hours, remote work. Unlimited PTO. The experience here launched my next opportunity and for that I am grateful.

Cons

This company was great. Vista bought them out back in 2019 and everything went downhill once the equity firm got their hands on the business. I will never work for another Vista company as a result and would recommend anyone else against it. Pay is absolutely terrible… and very below average for what you are required to do. With inflation, the pay is on par with the fast food industry - NOT COMPETITIVE AT ALL. Was promoted to a completely new role requiring at least 2x the amount of work than the previous position and was only offered a 5k salary increase with 7 plus years experience. Never had I felt more undervalued in my entire life. An account manager should be starting out at 70k minimum with the amount of work it requires. They only want to pay 50k-60k and that’s coming from someone who is long-tenured. Low-mid level employees are not heard or valued. You will only move up if the company has use for you to move up. Favorites are always given more opportunity. Raises annually are terrible at 2-3 percent. Promotions yield less than a 10 percent pay increase.

Pros

Great team members. Unlimited PTO. Remote work.

Cons

Insane workloads leading to tremendous levels of stress and burnout. Poor communication (sometimes condescending and disrespectful). Often little to no training. Low pay. Never felt so chewed up, spit out and unappreciated in my life. High turnover sweatshop.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience while at PlanSource. We agree, we have great team members, amazing benefits, and a great remote/flexible work culture! Our Leadership teams have the tools that they need to make sure everyone has a manageable workload, trained accordingly for their job responsibilities, and leadership teams be available for any questions, or feedback when requested. Our organization also offers many benefits, such as unlimited PTO, total wellness benefits, and others, alongside competitive wages, to make sure our team members are well prepared to handle the demands that a high-growth culture might bring. Our goal is to make sure no one feels underappreciated or underprepared, and we apologize that you might've felt this way during your time with us. We wish you the best with your continued career growth. Sharon Brand - Chief People Officer
